2020. The world shut down.
Dana is a teacher and was teaching her 4th grade class through a computer screen while Chase was in Kindergarten learning online at the desk across from hers.
They were both struggling to find self care. Dana has always loved being crafty and Chase always loved helping. He turned to her one night and said “Let’s start a business, mommy.”
So then...
Together, with their (not so silent) silent partner, husband/dad, they created Chasin’ Self Care.
The goal was to make it not so much of a “chase” for teachers and their friends to find self care.
While the business started with stickers full of simple reminders that Teachers, their friends, and students can put in all places, it quickly became the place to go to for super lightweight, fun teacher earrings! Of course we also have our Swiftie and Backstreet Boy line because that is what brings us self care!
In 2023, they were extremely excited to start selling wholesale to other small businesses!
The Fam:
Dana / Mom - Loves being a mental health advocate for her fellow teachers and students. She is a HUGE Backstreet Boy fan (since ‘93) and a proud Swiftie.
Chase / Son - Loves all the sports! His favorites are Baseball, Football, and Basketball. He is also a huge fan of music. BSB is in his DNA, but will give it all a chance. Fortnite is what you’ll find him doing in his free time.
Brian / Dad - Loves football and baseball. He was born and raised in the medical field and is looking forward to continuing his Paramedic journey.
As a family, their goal is to visit all 30 MLB baseball parks before Chase turns 18.
